Born and raised in Emmett, Idaho, Michael Gurney has deep roots in the communities he proudly serves. Sixteen years ago, Michael and his wife, Terah, made McCall, Idaho their home, where they’ve raised their two children and built lasting connections throughout Valley County.

Michael’s love for the outdoors perfectly aligns with the McCall lifestyle. When he’s not working with clients, you’ll often find him snowmobiling, hunting, hiking, camping, jet boating, or tackling hands-on projects like home remodeling and woodworking—giving him a practical appreciation for property value, craftsmanship, and land use across Valley County.

Community involvement is at the heart of Michael’s career. He proudly supports local youth and athletics through the Vandal Booster Club and Emmett High School athletics, and has been an active member of the McCall and Emmett Chambers of Commerce as well as the McCall Rotary Club. For the past 16 years, Michael has also served as a dedicated volunteer with the McCall Fire Department, contributing both his time and resources to support the safety and well-being of the community.

Professionally, Michael brings 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, where he built a reputation for helping clients protect what matters most through honest guidance, attention to detail, and personalized service. He now brings that same commitment to excellence into his work as a real estate agent in McCall, Idaho, assisting clients with buying and selling residential and commercial real estate throughout Valley County.
